Is it like some sort of unwritten rule in a school full of snobs? Do they get individual memos stating that they should bully the poor girl who was able to get in their cockamamie school because of a scholarship? Not because of a pedigree or some obscure relative that had a lot of money?   
Hmm… Maybe they’re jealous?   
Nah!   
Teenagers who sit in the lap of luxury don’t envy people like me. The ones who have to actually work to get anything they want from life.   
Nope, not exactly jealousy and yet, they resent me all the same.

Spurned by ImpluseI don’t know why I did it. You could say it was one of those “spur of the moment” kinds of things. Sigh… maybe I should try to break it down piece by piece so I could come into some form of understanding.   
The dream I had the other night was very lucid. So lucid in fact, I could still, well, feel the warmth of that kiss on my lips (Wha? Dammit, Haruki! This is YOUR fault!). And for the record, I HAD to kiss the SOS Brigade’s manly commander. I didn’t WANT to do it. It was either that or I had to spend an eternity with Haruki Suzumiya by my side, with the sole responsibility of procreating the planet. Spurned by Impluse

THUD 2Part Two: Fever Smeever   
Well, this was unusual.   
The “Friendly Class Trio” was incomplete for once. Kaoru was the only one in the classroom, reading a book; Hikaru had heeded the call of nature; while Haruhi paid a visit to the infirmary.   
She was feeling sluggish and lethargic that day and upon the younger twin’s insistence, the girl had practically dragged her weary self to the special nurse’s office.   
“What did she say?” Kaoru hid the book into his desk as Haruhi slumped on her seat.   
“Fever,” she muttered, resting her head on her arms,  THUD 2

It's Funny How You Suddenly Remember Things

When I was a little girl, I was enamored by my grandparents. I would try to spend as much time with them as much as I can. There was one weekend that I visited my lola (grandmother) in the afternoon and I remember helping out with mopping the first floor (I actually helped out with cleaning XDDD). When we were taking a break, these thoughts suddenly popped into my head:

Why do people die? Why does God take them away?



Curious, I asked my Lola these questions. She paused, looking rather thoughtful as she took a seat beside me.

She said: (translated from Tagalog)

People die because they are so very tired. God takes them away so that they could rest peacefully.


I... never realized that this simple conversation would come up after 15 years and be so appropriate. Lola died 5 days ago and she was indeed very tired. We buried her body today, finally putting her to rest.

Say hi to Lolo for me! /o/
